Hello Bible Code Enthusiasts,

   Welcome Friend! In an on going effort to maintain the integrity of our group, it’s important to our community to maintain order and respect within our charter. 

   This group is for Bible Code enthusiasts to share research findings and replicate searches. Discussion topics include Bible code software, search parameters, surface text parallels, and validity issues.

   This group is NOT for the discussion of religion itself as we are NOT a Bible study group. Rather this group is for the study of codes found within the Bible and not a platform for gossip about aliens verses God and the devil, new world order issues or propaganda of any kind, and so forth. However...

…Such discussions might lead the group to new and revealing codes, however members are asked to refrain from lengthy discussions when doing so. Please Stick to Bible Code Research topics at hand in short, concise letter about a given issue or risk being banned from our group for good.

    If you cannot contribute to the Bible Code group in some form, you are certainly most welcome to stay, we only ask if you will please just observe at first. Your questions to the group about Bible Code Research are absolutely welcome, but please check the FAQ Section of this group before asking any questions. Thank you.

    SEARCH REQUEST TO MEMBERS: Please refrain from asking group members to research Bible Codes for you, such as looking up the names of you and your loved ones. Reason being is two fold. (1) It takes 4 to 6 hours minimum to perform a single name search properly. (2) Group members get this request all the time. Please visit our FAQ section on how you, yourself can research your own name in the Bible Code for FREE. Again, thank you.

    ATTACHMENTS: Please do NOT use the (.bmp) file format for sending screen shots of Bible Codes to the group as this makes the file size HUGE. Please use the (.gif) file format instead, as this makes file size on average 23 times smaller! (.jpg) is acceptable but makes for a much larger file size. Attachments uploaded to the file section greater than  200 Kb are subject to deletion, as 20480 Kb is the maximum allotted memory Yahoo gives our group! Once the group memory reaches 95% capacity, the oldest post will be the first to go, this includes our email archives. This cannot be helped. So be sure to get copies of anything you want before it's gone.

ZIPPED FILE UPLOADS: Yahoo cannot and does not check (.zip) files for viruses that are uploaded to the group’s special file section. Zipped viruses are like Trojan horses, they cannot be detected until after you have unzipped/opened it and than you’re sunk if your not experienced in computer virus prevention methods, let alone up-to-date with your virus protection software, even then that's no guarantee. Not to mention Yahoo groups such as our can attract pranksters. So zipped files will no longer be accepted in the group’s special file section. PDF, JPG, GIF files are okay. Sorry, but viruses have become a HUGE problem among groups such as Yahoo Groups.

   SPAM & COMPLAINTS:  Please send all complaints and SPAM issues for review directly to James R. at: (Bible_Codes-owner@yahoogroups.com) After all, you serve as my eyes and ears and I need your help. Your comments and your name will “always” be kept confidential; as it’s my "solemn promise" to you! Again, thank for your help in this matter.

BANNED MEMBERS: Should you become banned, be it by mistake, or possibly you have been misunderstood, and as a result feel you have been unfairly banned from our group, you may appeal your group membership to Lanelle (who is the other group owner) or directly to me for review. Please be specific as possible when presenting your case for review. If you are reinstated, the ban will be lifted and a notice will be sent out to the email address you provide. If you use SPAM blocker, be sure to ad us to your allowed list. The link to the Group Charter is now found at the bottom of every email when using Yahoo’s Bible Codes Group Member Listing Email Service.

NOTE: You may try to request a copy of a file in question from the original poster should it no longer be found in the group's file section. Groups of files larger than 200 Kb should be posted individually as to avoid being deleted. Thank you.

    IN SUMMARY:Members that do NOT refrain from activity that is NOT connected with (actual Bible Code Research) is seen as SPAM and will be immediately banned without further warning. My I suggest you correspond directly to a given member when you are off topic. Anyone who flat out refuses to comply with the charter of this group will be swiftly terminated.

     Additionally, if you think of an issue that was inadvertently left out of the Yahoo Bible Codes Group Charter that you feel should be added, please post your concerns in an open forum, directly to the group at: Bible_Codes@yahoogroups.com

    AGAIN: Your help in pointing out NON-COMPLIANT MEMBERS is requested and needed. You can send your complaint directly to the Group Moderator or simply post it and possibly the non-compliant member in question will head your warning. It's your call.

(SPECIAL NOTICE:) - Members often share their research findings with the entire group by using, "Attachments" via e-mail. Yahoo no longer stores Attachments, so if you choose NOT to receive daily e-mail from the Yahoo Bible Codes Group, THAN YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A COPY OF THAT GIVEN BIBLE CODE WHEN IT IS SENT TO THE GROUP. There is little point in joining this group if you do not want to see the actual codes that group members find and than send out to the group list.
